 Term 3 

As we kick off a new term, excitement buzzes in the air! This week, we have dived into the wondrous world of Ada Twist, Scientist, sparking curiosity in our little learners. Our WOW starter, the explosive (maybe not that explosive) elephant toothpaste experiment, left the children amazed and eager to explore the science of changing materials. In History, we are going to take a fascinating trip back in time to discover what schools were like in the past, contrasting them with our modern classrooms. Creativity will flourish in Art as we experiment with painting and mixed media, incorporating collage techniques to express our ideas. During PE, we will find our inner calm with yoga, promoting mindfulness and flexibility. In Maths, we are tackling column addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers, building confidence in our problem-solving skills by initially using base 10 manipulatives. It’s shaping up to be an inspiring term, and I can’t wait to see how our learning journey unfolds!

Term 2

Term 2 is going to be quite lively! We've hit the ground running and started practising our Nativity play, you need to be on your best behaviour as the Fleece Force are in town. In maths, we're exploring addition and subtraction, helping the students develop their number skills with fun activities. Our PE lessons have been all about ball games and invasion games, promoting teamwork and keeping everyone active. Additionally, in geography, we are exploring the fascinating topic of the weather in the UK, learning about different weather patterns and how they affect our daily lives. It's going to be a term of intrigue and discovery.
