Bristol Aquarium Yr 5/6

Our recent trip to the Bristol Aquarium was an unforgettable experience, filled with: excitement, learning, and a deeper appreciation for marine life. The children had the incredible opportunity to explore a wide variety of ecosystems, such as the vibrant coral reefs.

As part of our curriculum, the trip gave students the chance to observe diverse marine species, including tropical fish, lion fish, sea horses, terrapins and even sharks. The highlight for many was walking through the underwater tunnel. 

FUN FACT: did you know that when starfish eat, their stomachs exit their mouths to digest the food, and re-enters the body when they've finished eating?
