Cluster Cricket Tournament

On Tuesday 6th June the cricket team ventured out to an exciting tournament at Winsley Cricket Club.

We all came to school feeling enthusiastic and ready to start the day. We played against some hardworking and  competitive teams: Shaw, Christchurch, Winsley A and Winsley B. 

We first played Shaw, who were impressive, the score was 74 to Shaw and we scored 44.

In the second game, we played Christchurch, who were inspiring to us, the score was 103 to Christchurch and Fitz scored 33.

After that game we had our lunch break and we were all fired up for our 3^rd game. It was quite a rush because we didn’t realise that we were playing so soon. In our 3^rd game, the score was quite close, it was only a 4 run difference, the score was 76 to Winsley B and we scored 72.

On our last game it was still quite close: there were 10 runs between the scores. Even though we lost we still won the fair play award and had lots of fun.
